The incredibly popular Umarex Gauntlet platform evolves again, this time with the addition of a smooth side lever action. The Gauntlet 2 SL25 (.25 caliber) continues to use the same familiar 8-shot auto-indexing rotary Gauntlet magazine and the same ergonomic all-weather FDE-colored stock that debuted with the Gauntlet 2. Attach your choice of precision optic to the combination dovetail/Picatinny scope rail and start firing your favorite .25 caliber pellet or airgun round at targets at distance. The Gauntlet 2 SL25 produces 55 foot-pounds of energy (FPE) and will send a 25-grain pellet out the muzzle at 1,000 FPS. If you’re new to PCP rifles, you’ll need a high-pressure air source—an air compressor that can compress air up to 4,500 psi, like the Umarex ReadyAir. One option is an external carbon fiber tank, which you can fill at a paintball shop, some dive shops, and some airsoft fields/shops. A high-pressure hand pump is also an option for those in good physical condition.
