AEA semi-automatic air rifles require at least a 30 Joule setting to cycle and effectively convert to semi-automatic air rifles.<\/p>\n

When adjusted to a lower power, these air rifles cannot be operated in semi-automatic mode and require the user to manually cock the bolt after each shot.<\/p>\n

For this reason, when adjusted to < 30 Joules, AEA air rifles that would normally be semi-automatic become repeating air rifles. This makes them legal under UK regulations.\n\n\n\n
