Rut bleats signal to bucks that a doe is ready to breed. “THE Original CAN” perfectly reproduces the rut bleats used during the rut. This is by far the best call for bucks during the pre-rut and rut. Use it for whitetails, blacktails, and mule deer.
– To make the perfect bleat, cover the bottom hole with your thumb or finger, turn the call upside down, and then turn it upright again. Bleats should last one or two seconds. Repeat two or three times every 10-15 minutes.
To vary the pitch and volume of the call, place your hand over the top of the call.
